Getting Things Done.
First and foremost got my new 3D printer and it is forcing me to clean out the rest of the space with the residue from the fire four/five years ago. As the printer is tall and takes up some ground space and the plotter when its done will need 60cm square on a flat bed area, so I need the room for that to happen. The printer is first because I need to design and print parts to convert a heavy duty laser parts onto a triple tool machine base I will make. It will have three axis from the traditional two axis machine with a head unit to switch in a pen for plotting, and a cutter for carving self adhesive acrylic for glass outlines and silhouettes. The laser can engrave and cut light weight stuff, from thin materials to light metals and steel. But a laser has power regulated depth of focus and so does not raise from the material. A pen and a cutter has to so they need to be raised at the end of a stroke and set down again at the next lines start. This will take following some hefty designs on YouTube to make it a three way machine. The plotter is a pen that will use metallic inks to create art and etchings and can be used for greetings cards and the laser can cut out fine filigree work once the ink is dry to produce intricate effects, the cutter is just for the self adhesive vinyl, this will also make screen blanks for silk screen work on T-Shirts and such. This will become a workshop when I can rent space but for now its a hobby to get my shapes into prototype phase for a pitch in the new year. The machines are only capable of small one off’s as it takes so long to get the goods out the end of it all. My 3D printer printed a small test piece 5x5x2cm with a 3cm square hollow cut in the centre, making it a 5cm by 1cm square doughnut, and even this small an object still took an hour and a half to print. So large ends for steel poles will take a lot of materials and even more time to print every one of them out. Typical time can be as much as 20 to 30 hours a piece, so no mass production in the bedroom with those speeds and the cost of materials. It will be more of a case of the old classic song ‘One Piece at a Time’ but it will cost me more than a dime.
The whole setup phase for the printer was a bummer, as it had a few false starts, some of the software I tried would not even find the printer and the one that did had its heating setting overridden by the control machine on the printer. The machine came with a test module (the square) and about 200g of material to print the ‘test’ shape. Still have about 40 to 50g left. Tried taking pictures but in the dark with no lights (overheads made no impact at all) it was a waste of time, have to wait till daylight to take the images again. The machine only took about forty minutes to build and then a couple of hours today to fine tune, with a successful first print. From all the website chatter it seams that does not happen very often, and it did take a lot of reading between the lines and taking into account the ambient room temperature to start with. All in all I just need to order new materials to build the shape prototypes, but it will not happen quickly as design of the new is about trial and error as much as knowing materials and incorporating good design and engineering into the build.
The first projects are easy and I have two to kick off with. I have an old pickup,
for an acoustic guitar that I used to have but the battery unit encasement got lost along the way. My electric guitar that I got to replace it has a battery unit but not with the same kind of connector, so I will be designing from this one and adjusting the catch from the side to the edge to fit the old unit. The second project is a set of chop sticks and that will need food grade material and a few trial and errors along the way. I was going to buy them but had to leave them as I could not get everything on my wish list. The design of the chopsticks will help with the finding out process for the shapes prototypes as they are long and slender. The working area of the 3D printer is large at 310 x 310 x 410 mm, which is large for a 3D printer. Just had my First print from the printer a test piece and it worked out well.
The filament was the free one that came with the printer about 200g worth and still have about a fifth of it left. The first project the battery housing for the guitar pickup will be in black. The next one will have the chopsticks done in black with a gold head piece and mid band as well as tip. And when I get the silver it will also be a set in black and silver, may inlay Chinese characters for decoration in gold to see how to build multi colour prototypes.
I only really have one issue with the printing process and that is plastic waste, not just from print failures but from printing to excess and making more plastic. Wonder if the material can be reclaimed and used again if ground and reprocessed. This is why I am also getting a small CNC to cut from wood and metals (copper, brass and aluminium) but it will have to wait for a while so I can get materials to work with it. The Laser/plotter will be a hybrid of a cutter for vinyl and a pen for decoration, this will be built after the first two smaller projects to iron out the printing bugs. The ideal is to make a smooth finish without having to iron the ridges from the likes of the test piece. Sanding and smoothing is an option with moulding or casting from the prints. The real test will be the geometric shapes and the design will have to be of a high enough finish for presentation. The CNC will be used to cut the coins from my card deck and to make the models from the jewellery projects from 2010 – 2013. The vinyl cuts will be used as print blanks for a screen printing process for making my Celtic saltire flags. All in all a couple of years work and it will force me to get up and do rather than sit and vegetate. Yesterday was a drain and I could not unwind, moving things around to set up a flat surface for the printer, then up and down to keep an eye on the process once it kicked off. Woke late and feel drained and aches all over but have to crack on and work out the kinks, just the first day at the tatties style and build up to better and more movement. The muscles have been wasting since the broken rib and no heavy lifting with lots of rests have been the norm. Now its time to push or vegetate and not end up a cabbage, so its time to sprout some and toughen up a little. Passing out is now reduced to crashing (falling asleep) instead of going unconscious when hitting the wall of energy reserves. The whole idea of the printer was to force me to finish clearing out the room and cupboards as there is no place for the printer, laser and CNC except if the room is cleared and all the excess thrown out. Already have all the stuff out of the cupboards and two of the four are done. But the piles to be sorted have been laying there without attention for about a month now. This will force me to sort and chuck and it will make me ruthless, with no sentimentality at all about how long I have had whatever for, than I cant bear to decide right now about. Two down and two to go but they are empty and after the sorting they will be even more empty. I reckon about twelve rubbish bin bags worth of ancient history will hit the skids, and I have just started to clean up some of the fire damaged stuff to see if they can be kept and the out tray for those is growing by the day.
The Tesla Problem.
The liars cheats and thieves will kill anyone and steal anything they have to to stay in power over innovation and. The great debate about what Tesla left us is of course moot as he did not leave us a thing. It was stolen and cheated out of his hands, and is about to resurface in the hands of the you will pay for everything right down to the ground and then some brigade of brigands. There are of course all the little snippets and various breadcrumbs that are surfacing from the reverse engineering brigade of lets see what the great man found from what he did display. The thing that Tesla did that killed of Tesla enterprises is he wanted to give everything away free and they will not allow that. Well as long as society was in a build the infrastructure mode that rang true. But now that build has reached stagnation due to a shift from growth to substantiation and the luddite’s are all still in build mode. The infinite resources in a finite world seems to be lost on all these great thinkers. Yes that is sarcasm and yeah I’m not very good at it. For they are not great thinkers they are great marketers and promoters. They are the Barnum and Bailey of the inventors world, the bucket rakers and scavengers that think that a world in settlement will still have rich new markets to plunder, yeah not gonna happen guys. The ‘usual tool’ of history with small population densities and no www of instant communication, was to isolate, invade and conscript by any means. This always left the population leaving and ignoring all they promote as it learned to get back to making for themselves and doing for themselves. As you can see with the prices of this world post peek a disposable income is not needed just access to more debt and to abandon the accumulation (write it off, banks do) and take out more loans. This model only works pre saturation point on any population density model they care to try. It also means that a collateral based economy still can only loan to the extent that the loans can be covered and so no collapse is possible. But as we saw with the 2010 big fiscal hiccup the repercussions are far reaching and have repercussions still to come, and one of the first areas will be the crypto lie. Because if you virtually own nothing and paid good money for the privilege at the bottom of a pyramid structure, you know who is taking out the real cash at the top and what will that leave the last set of fools at the bottom.
Now they stole from anyone, they bought up inventions and all the paperwork for outright ownership where they could, but the hard to sell and not keen to give well they all got the black bag treatment. History is loaded with them. The problem in the early days of electrickery was they could not evaluate it and regulate the usage because they could not get a static handle on it. Yeah they were and still are that thick. So electric cars that need electricity with no way of metering it was not a workable model, but gas by volume with heavy overheads was a black gold mine to the promoters. The electric car was cheated out of its place in history because of this, household electric meters all had a spinning wheel gadget that made it look like it was watching wattage, had the vice on voltage and arm wrestled the amps into submission. But the estimate by goods assumed owned was a measure to come later to start with the flea circus act was a timer covering duration and they will jump to defend this but shit you know they are liars, that cover their own ass any way they can. Now Nicola and Edison the thieving toerag had no problem cheating his rival out of a fair crack at the AC DC bandwagon, but he would not (as greed masters the unscrupulous soul) let the prize slip from his fingers. Tesla had discovered something in the AC bandwidth that was not found again till lately and that is radio emissions have a resonance on the electromagnetic spectrum. So much so that the reverse engineering has seen an RF frequency keep another motor powered with no power supply connected to it and that its proximity to an RF source determines if the power is leached or not. There is some speculation as to the right frequency and it still comes from the pay for everything mode of thinking and so presents only half the picture, with no immediate solution. The other real problem with the liars that know there is enough resources in the world to feed, cloth and provide for billions of souls, know that only the top 40 to 50 percent will ever be able to afford it. So war famine, disease are still their favourite helpers, after all the poor can die and they will be unaffected and no one will care as all the rich own the forces and judiciary of the societal structures and so they will never prosecute or persecute themselves now will they. Back to the day as Tesla set up a structure like a big Ariel that he said could without wires send power to remote outlets. But with a fake meter spinning a wheel to show probable cause that it could be metered, what do you think they would have to do without wires and a form of metering to measure their income with. Getting the picture yet.
I have not seen the film about Tesla and Edison but it is a Hollywood device and so accuracy will be forfeit for entertainment, or why let a little thing like the truth get in the way of a good story. The whole idea of phasing out radio and not allowing home generation with laws and such was something they could do before it got out. But now with advances and revelations all over the place. Just try searching for Tesla on the web and the glut of the Elon Musk type keep on stopping good research for the time pressed. A bit like a certain person mentioning a hobby about buses, after his name being linked to a slogan on the side of one to just divert the search engines away from the blundering embarrassments he keeps dropping like clangers all over the electronic highways. But seriously we need to look at modern developments and the con that must be hidden to fleece the dupes with. After all oil is not needed it is preferred by those that earn from it. We could all change the fuel with additional investment, even just using a fuel assist to cut costs to save more at first. There have always been alternatives and the strategy was always to keep the herd too busy and too poor as well as too ignorant to think and be creative to keep on raking it in. The modern approach was to get nuclear miniaturised way back when it was first developed and as we can see space, large ships, trains and heavy transport still guzzle the old faithful fossil of the dark ages fuels.
Then there was always the big thorn in the machines side as nuclear has fallen to the sidelines and the main program for dirty fuel and nuclear weapons from reactors had a heavy hand in side lining fusion, as they tried to keep a lid on a free water based hydrogen energy solution and how that would cramp their till ringing mechanisms. A few have tried to own all the water but its as enforceable as taxing air, but Nestley still went to own an aquifer and one of the largest on the planet at that. No international power or force stepped up and said no corporate greedy mechanism can own nature free commodities. No international outcry and it passed of on the back pages of the press. Growth is slowed and productivity is down and the hand has been nearly played out for the growth mechanisms of the past few centuries. The finite universe demands that we regulate resources of the non renewable kind, that we recycle the ones that can be and this just leaves all those profit making replenishables. Batteries are becoming a hard sell area because of all the investment that brought the lithium growth mechanism to the hand held and laptop realms as well as the personal devices and wearable’s markets. The need for a better home battery with a renewable link and a grid pay in system will take the heat out of the grids industrial size drain on power management. Still they are trying to convince people to generate while they can and keeping enough stored to coast the dry spots and to sell the surplus to them net and then they will gross that out to the user and all the ones that input it into the grid at a higher price than they sold it for. Now what’s not to love they buy from you at penitence, and crank it up at need and hardship. Nothing new there then is there. Then there was the big cut the lungs of the world down and plant animal fodder and palm oil for the next stage of fuel selling after the dirty oil gets its much overdue comeuppance. But as ever the full circle leads all the way back to the hard pressed, the need for convenience, the ill educated, the market force itself. You and me if we do not buy it they have no market, it is that simple.
Now as we get more woke and they get hard pressed do you think they might want to nuke us and have the only safe water supply on the planet for themselves, that is safely stored underground where it is now. If we all get woke and they get scared, they have killed before as you saw with the man and his water machine. It is not just inventors as Willie Macray can testify to, and JFK who was though of as one of their own, was not above having to dealt with.
The model they have been following is cheap workforce (cant do that in the west any more) hard pressed busy lifestyles, with constant needs (cash flow) keep savings away from the poor and the ability to accumulate a cash reserve (cant force people to work if they have what they need) and find a way to ensure they need to earn more (inflation). Now when the need to raise capital hit the glass ceiling of old collateral thinking, the you can only lend what you have enough to collaterally assure. They had to find a way to keep it going so they came up with the debt based economy. Oh no do you want to bet they literally went to a retreat and dreamed it up and instituted it against the the laws of the land. So wars and conflicts to cover up and the banks all print what they like with no collateral to cover debt. But that means you can just as they do write of the losses and start again, no they can but you must pay, and pay and pay, so that they can play and play and play.
So what is the problem that caused the market crash, that saw nations teeter and banks collapse, well they had all been skimming and shifting things around and they had literally cut up the collateral till there was nothing left to cover anything, and they knew that they would be caught out. A ceiling was reached and growth was king and could not be denied. Just take a look at the decline in infrastructure with all the greedy using accountants with fancy terms, cost effective analysis. Or just worth the rick to you and me, to deny and beneficial trends to direct into their own schemes, government grants and incentives, punitive policies to restrict and you see the frantic actions of OZ behind the curtain running out of levers and too busy to stop to make new ones and the curtain falling into disrepair around his devious ass.
